Vintage orange cap with black “65” patch on the front, a squat bill, and brittle leather lining sewn into the brim. Interior fabric label reads “E Rosenstein Sons, Rochester 5, N.Y., LARGE,” though the hat is notably small in fit, likely a modern child’s size or women’s small. As found, the hat includes two pins: a shield-shaped “Northeastern R.O.T.C.” pin with red and black enamel stripes and an embossed brass medallion of Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts; and a blue rectangular nameplate button reading “University of Rochester Freshman Week 1961” with typed name “David Cushman.” General age-related wear throughout.
